December Birthday Celebration Day 5

The names in my little box continue to grow and I know this is not a happy announcement to most of you. The odds of winning one of the illustrations is still pretty good, something like one in two, so keep your fingers crossed and think positive thoughts! Be sure to read to the end as I have a little surprise that I think will make at least a few of you happy. I try :)
So on to the day at hand and our winner for today is Renee!!!!! Congratulations Renee!!! Be sure to send me your address so I can get your package out to you.
Now for tomorrow's give away.
Aren't these lovely?!! The piece above has a Barbie doll flair to it. Fun and seductive all at the same time. Remember, there is an illustration on either side, you will not be getting two seperate pieces.
In the event that you have not thrown your name in, and you would like a chance to win one of the illustrations,
1. You must be a follower of the blog through some vehicle be it my little follower box, bloglovin, feedly or some other reader. Just let me know how you follow.
2. Leave a comment on this post. Once you leave a comment, you will not have to continue to leave comments as your name will stay in the box until you win. Once you win, your name will be removed.
3. Be sure to check back each day to see if you have won. If you do win, please email me at sewbussted@yahoo.com with your address so I can get your prize in the mail.

Now on to my little surprise. A number of you really love the illustrations and have commented that you wish they were for sale so that you could just buy them. Well, your wish is my command. I can now add Jeannie to my list of abilities ;) !!! Anyway....I thought long and hard about this yesterday and decided that I can let go of my Ungaro books. The Valentino books are just a little more special to me and I'm not ready to give them up quite yet. This is a rather big move for me as I am very attached to my things and letting them go can be quite difficult. But, the more I thought about it, the more I realized that it would bring me greater joy to know that the pictures are bringing lots of people joy rather than just the occasional joy I get from looking through the books every once in a while. I am going to begin by taking apart the Spring 1990 Ungaro fabric swatch catalog. I will post all of the illustrations in my Etsy shop. I hope to get this accomplished later today. Once the illustrations are listed, I'll post it here on the blog and let you know that they are up. Below is an example of the illustrations from this book. I think they are especially pretty.

You can see more examples here, http://rhondabuss.blogspot.com/2013/09/monday-morning-inspiration_9.html
Now you'll have two options, you can wait and see if you are a lucky winner, or you can just buy one, two or a few!
A Very Happy Friday to you all :)

  4. Oh my!!! You're going to be taking apart your Ungaro books for your shop, as well as the month-long giving?!?!? Ohmigosh what I can't even-!! Geez!! I lurvvvvvve Ungaro, and will be on the lookout for your Etsy shop treasures!! Thank you for a wonderful opportunity for even more of us, Rhonda! YAY!
(I do not 'get' how you can do this, though. Those books are part of you, & it blew me away to realize you were giving away illustrations all thru December in the first place. Those books are part of your life experiences. Just WOW.)
